Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for highly passionate and responsible teachers to join our learning centre as Chemistry teacher. The successful candidate shall be tasked to deliver lessons in an engaging and dynamic manner, based on our curriculum and pedagogy, as well as establish relationships with our students to inspire loyalty and learning progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute lesson plans for Secondary level Chemistry lessons.
  • Develop lesson materials and provide feedback to help students achieve visible improvement in academic results.
  • Engage students and help them realise their potential.
  • Assist in curriculum development and review of academic curriculums.
  • The setting of examination/assessment papers and assignments (question papers, resit papers and answer keys).
  • Invigilate, mark and record exams/assessments results.
  • Will be assigned moderation duties for other modules.

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching Chemistry at IGCSE and IBDP levels.
  • Familiar with IGCSE or International Baccalaureate curricula.
  • Bachelor's degree majoring in related disciplines, Master's degree an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organisational skills.
  • Highly motivated, good working attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
  • At least 3 years of experience in teaching related subjects.
  • Experience in teaching in a multilingual environment and academic assessment.
  • Able to conduct online lessons using Zoom etc, and familiar with software applications and productivity tools.
