You will be part of the Advisory Services team that promotes upskilling and career development and lifelong learning to various segments of individuals and enterprises through physical and digital touchpoints. Your role will involve managing and analysing data to continuously improve the quality of skill and career advisory. You will need to leverage insights from trends, performance metrics and stakeholder feedback to continually ensure that Advisory Services maintain standards of excellence.

Core Responsibilities
Data Management & Analysis
- Lead or support data-driven quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing advisory services
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on data governance matters to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards
- Review and manage case entries and other data sources to ensure integrity and usability for insights generation
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights
- Prepare monthly reports and presentations for internal and/or external stakeholders on identified trends and insights
- Work with other team members to act on insights to improve advisory services continuously
Other
- Support event deployment on an ad-hoc basis
- Handle CRM (Client Relationship Management) cases to address clients' upskilling concerns on an ad-hoc basis
- Coordinate call assignments for Skills Ambassadors
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
Responsibilities
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong organisational and data management skills, with the ability to manage monthly reporting
- Strong interest in data analysis
- Comfortable working with large datasets data visualisation tools (Tableau/ PowerBI) and large language models
- Creative skills to develop visually appealing materials
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and design software for creating materials
- Possess domain knowledge of the CET landscape and labour market (e.g. in-demand skills and job roles) to contextualize and support relevant data analysis will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
- Excellent business writing and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Ability to converse in Mother Tongue is an advantage
- Experience in service excellence or CRM will be welcomed

This role will suit an individual passionate about microbiology and omics study to understand host-microbes interactions. The RO will be able to:
- Conduct wet lab experiments;
- Assist in the isolation, characterisation, and genomic analysis of bacterial samples;
- Prepare research findings for publications, reports, and presentations;
- Undertake the day-to-day running of the project and collaborate with team members in supporting lab operation;
- Daily lab management tasks such as inventory of supplies and samples, preparing culture media and solutions, autoclaving materials, ordering supplies and maintaining bacterial cultures and stocks;
- Conduct literature searches and analyse data, as well as assist in preparing both progress and final reports of the project;
- Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with policies and procedures;

Job Requirements (Qualifications/Skills etc) :
The applicant should:
- At least Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field.
- Prior experience in laboratory research, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria handling, or molecular genetics is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in techniques in cell and molecular biology such as PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, sequencing, fluorescence microscopy, and cloning.
- Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with microbial culturomics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, able to prepare clear research documentation and contribute to team discussions.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

We are seeking multiple full-time Research Assistant(s) who will assist with quantitative data analysis in ongoing projects on the economics and demography of aging, pensions and retirement, as well as health of the elderly. The projects are part of a large 5-year research program (2024-2028) which has collaborators in Singapore and the United States. The Principal Investigator of this project is located at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
The successful candidate(s) must demonstrate competence in quantitative research methods using STATA or R, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent written and spoken English is essential. Research interest and experience in one or more of the above-listed areas on economics and demography of aging, OR pensions and retirement, OR health of older adults is plus.
This position caters to individuals who are looking to further their skillsets and analytical training to develop a career or pursue further studies in the fields of applied economics or public policy research. As such, we require a minimum of one year of past research work experience as full-time Research Assistant. Please state this work experience clearly in your cover letter. This position is not suitable for fresh graduates or those with part-time/ad-hoc research experience only.
