Early Childhood Educator

Location: Singapore

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated early childhood educator to join our team at Sunflower Preschool. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to their individual needs, and working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the preschool.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the educational needs of children aged 18 months to 6 years
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes children's physical, social, and emotional development
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
• Contribute to the development and implementation of preschool policies and procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Qualifications: DPT or ACEY diploma (or equivalent)
• Experience: Full-time pre-school teaching experience (with or without experience welcome)
• Skills: Childcare, classroom management, lesson planning, teaching, and intellectual property protection

• Tuesday to Friday: 10am-7pm / 12pm-9pm
• Saturday to Sunday: 8:30am-6:30pm
• 6 Rest Days per Month
• Working location: Bishan / Kovan

• Plan and design curriculum materials and lesson plans.
• Mark and grade assignments, providing constructive feedback to students.
• Conduct engaging Chinese language lessons aligned with the school's curriculum for students.
• Provide feedback on student progress and communicate with parents when necessary

International School Homeroom Teacher

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be a subject matter expert in Mathematics or English or Science, with special focus on delivering the Cambridge curriculum in these subjects.
• Teach children across a broad range of ages from 5-14 years old.
• Be responsible for the Homeroom class management of students and parents.
• Be accountable for student progress and attainment levels within your specific subject area.

Requirements:

• Degree in education
• At least 2 years of experience as a Homeroom Teacher in an International School.

• First Aid Certificate is required.
