What it's about
In this position, you will be part of the Investment Valuation team which is responsible for the investment monitoring and valuation process across our private equity, and private real estate investments. You will be responsible to:
- Support the Direct Valuation Control process which involves task planning, coordination and quality control of key deliverables to support our daily, monthly and quarterly valuation processes for our direct investment platform, with a focus on private equity and real estate asset classes
- Work closely with a small sub-team, including valuation process timeline planning, resource planning and task allocation
- Consolidation and finalization of monthly closing process to ensure reporting timelines are met
- Coordinating and supporting the Valuation Committee meetings by providing valuation packages, related analytics, and information to facilitate their review and discussions
- Collaboration with stakeholders within Partners Group as well as with external parties (service providers, auditors etc.) on valuation-related matters
- Contribution to the development and improvement of existing monitoring, valuation, reporting tools and processes
- Supporting the execution of the daily valuation process on a rotational basis
What we expect
The successful candidate should have the following profile:
- University degree, preferably in accounting and/or Finance
- Ideally 3-5 years of relevant experience in the financial industry (in a controlling, audit or valuation function) with a good understanding on the different types of financial instruments and valuation concepts. Knowledge of real estate valuations and ability to challenge accuracy of valuations prepared is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills and a good team player. Experience in coaching and leading a small team is a plus
- Knowledge with SQL queries, programming languages or business analytics software such Qliksense is a bonus
- Proficient in MS Office and specifically MS Excel
- Ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and multi-cultural environment to achieve clear goals within a short timeframe
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with good interpersonal skills

- Business Valuation Services:

Perform detailed financial analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
Prepare and present detailed valuation reports that are robust, defensible, and compliant with international valuation standards (IVS) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Provide expert witness testimony in court for litigation support cases, where required.
- Business Audit & Financial Advisory:

Conduct financial due diligence for clients considering acquisitions or investments.
