Responsibilities
- Conducting market and industry research for different industries;

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Investment Banking experience within Southeast Asia region, including but not limited to Indonesia, Thailand or Vietnam, etc;
- Minimum of 3 years of track record in Thailand M&A transactions in sectors such as consumer and power
- Experience in writing financial modeling in Thai, and Bahasa for clients;
- Advanced financial modelling and financial analytical skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Good Presentation skills;
- The ability to excel under pressure amid demanding deadlines;
- A strong sense of personal integrity and teamwork;
- A high level of energy and a keen desire to learn new concepts;

Working closely with the Head of Investment Banking, you will manage a team and be involved in the origination, execution, underwriting and placement of Investment banking projects, including both debt capital market and equity capital market transactions.
You will undertake preliminary assessment of IPO and/or debt issuance feasibility of potential clients and will prepare marketing presentation materials, prepare Investment Banking Committee (IBC) papers to seek name clearance before seeking mandate from clients. You will undertake site visits and meet with clients and prepare mandate letters for execution.
You will be responsible for the execution of IB transactions and as a principal transaction officer, you will prepare kick-off kit, review draft prospectuses, attend working meetings, liaise with clients on a regular basis, as well as handle issues related to transactions. You will liaise with other professionals involved in the transaction and prepare submission documents to Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) and liaise with the SGX review officers. You will attend meetings with MAS on specific transactions where required and work with the IB Administrative Officer on the logistics issues for IPO launch.
You will perform peer group analysis of IPO and/or debt issuance candidates as an input to pricing. You will arrange for clients to meet with potential institutional investors at closed-door sessions during book-building, prepare IBC papers on underwriting and placement commitments. You will liaise with solicitors, companies and other financial institutions in the preparation of the underwriting and placement agreements, including sub-underwriting or sub-placement agreement. You will check to ensure that final placee list numbers tally with issue parameters, monitor subscription levels and keep IBC members informed and will prepare the balloting spreadsheet and announcement.
Pre-requisites
- Degree majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline
- Possess at least 10 years of investment banking experience
