Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for both tax compliance and internal audit functions within the organisation. The executive will support the accurate tax reporting, particularly GST and corporate tax, while also contributing to audit efforts that strengthen internal controls and operational compliance across stores, warehouses, and the head office.
This role is based in Tampines.
Key Responsibilities
Taxation
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate GST returns, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist in preparing corporate income tax computations in line with IRAS regulations.
- Manage withholding tax matters and ensure timely compliance and submissions.
- Liaise with IRAS on tax queries, audits, and clarifications.
- Stay updated on Singapore tax laws, IRAS guidelines, and retail-specific tax treatments (e.g., vouchers, discounts, returns).
- Coordinate with external tax agents and auditors for year-end filings.
- Support the implementation of tax-efficient processes and ensure adherence to transfer pricing and local tax documentation requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA Singapore, CIA) or working towards one is advantageous.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in tax and/or internal audit, preferably in retail or FMCG sectors.
- Solid understanding of Singapore GST and corporate tax regulations.
- Experience with retail operations or store audits is a plus.
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Good knowledge of Singapore tax legislation and IRAS requirements.

Job Purpose
The Tax Director, based in APAC, will manage tax compliance and assist in providing advisory support across Japan, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, and mainland China.
