Maintain full set of accounts
Perform daily bookkeeping activities - sales, purchases, receivables, payables, and cash disbursements.
Ensure proper accounting records are maintained and procedures are adhered to.
Prepare bank reconciliations.
Manage timely closing process and reconciliations, including for inter-company transactions;
Handle month-end, financial year-end closing, monthly balance sheet, P&L, Bank reconciliation.

To qualify for the role you must have:

Primary Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for all or subset of the key responsibilities below:
- Assist in managing all spectrum of tax compliance (including corporate income tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing, GST/VAT) for Applied Materials entities in Singapore. This will involve extracting reports from accounting system (SAP), compiling, analyzing and reconciling the numbers from various sources. It also requires working closely with finance team as well as coordination with external outsourced vendors and tax advisors.
- Assist in US and local tax reporting, including quarterly tax provision, annual tax package reporting and deferred tax computation.
- Work with finance team on local GAAP accounts from a tax perspective.
- Assist in managing tax audits and examinations by the taxing authorities.
- Assist in managing tax incentive programs, with close monitoring to ensure fulfillment of incentive conditions.
