- Accounting and Bookkeeping
1) Be responsible for daily bookkeeping of client companies (including procurement, sales, banking, expenses, salaries, etc.).
2) Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
3) Assist in preparing management reports, financial analysis, and audit-related materials.
- Tax Declaration and Compliance
1) Be responsible for calculating and declaring Corporate Income Tax (Form C/C-S), Withholding Tax, GST (if applicable).
2) Provide basic tax planning suggestions and assist clients in meeting IRAS compliance requirements.
3) Prepare and submit employer-related tax forms such as IR8A and Form IR21 (if applicable).
- Financial Statements and XBRL Conversion
1) Prepare and submit XBRL financial statements using BizFinx in accordance with ACRA requirements.
2) Ensure the structure and format of statements are compliant to support annual review and company annual report filing processes.
1) Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
2) At least 2 years of experience in finance at local Singapore firms or companies (preference for candidates with firm background).
3) Familiar with Singapore Accounting Standards (SFRS), corporate income tax regulations, and IRAS filing processes.
4) Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Autocount, MYOB) and BizFinx XBRL tools.
5) Good English writing skills, able to independently draft financial statements and tax documents.
6) Preference for candidates who have obtained or are pursuing any of the following professional certifications: - ISCA (Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants) - ACCA - CPA Australia - ICAEW / CAANZ / HKICPA or other recognized international certified accounting qualifications.
7) Positive work attitude, meticulous and responsible, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
8) Preferred candidates with good English and Chinese communication skills (plus for serving Chinese clients).
9) Recruitment targets: Singapore Residents or Permanent Residents. Note: It is recommended to recruit CPA professionals with rich experience for this position; they can guide domestic staff in finance and taxation services, check accuracy, complete local declarations, conduct risk control on account compliance and tax compliance (internal accounting department) of Singapore companies, and cooperate with the domestic team to complete internal financial compliance processing of the company.
