**Job Description**
- Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base in area sales assigned, driving the company's sales growth.
- Provide customer support through addressing both technical and commercial needs/requirements.
- Promote and present new repair capabilities and products to customers.
- Lead reporting activities and work towards achieving performance targets for assigned region.
- Collaborate with the Customer Support Representative team to deliver results and enhance collective performance.
- Negotiate new contracts and manage financial and strategic objectives with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
- Travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development efforts across the region.

**Job Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, or Engineering preferred.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or above in Maritime studies/Business Administration or other relevant field(s)

· Proven sales track record

· Ability to listen and understand client needs

· Strong understanding of the challenges faced by maritime companies in managing compliance and transiting to digital logbooks.

· Experience within the maritime industry is an advantage

· Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

· Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

About the role:

To hold the responsibility in performing the duties associated with sales growth, profit, and brand equity for one of our client in the wine industry. This role will manage key direct local accounts as well as appoint, review and manage distributors in respective markets to achieve our large ambitions for the region.

Job Duties:

  • Annual JBP to set financial and distribution goals and ambitions for subsequent financial year, work with distributors to achieve targets
  • Play a leading role in ensuring that the distributors achieve the objectives agreed within the AVL portfolio
  • Support and inspire our distributors to grow together and prioritise AVL portfolio in their key markets
  • Set the brand financial objectives; establish marketing and promotional plans together with the distributors/customers
  • Ensure that the distribution plan is well executed and Pillar Brands are available in all the relevant channels (with a focus on modern off trade)
  • Identify potential new customers/partners in the region to ensure growth objectives and ensure we have the right route to market.
  • Pricing analysis of competitors’ products and ensure that we have the right positioning in the market for our brands
  • Collaborate with the Asia and domestic marketing teams to ensure efficient use of A&P funds to be consumer focused to build awareness and brand engagement.
  • Develop and execute promotional calendar of activities with the distributors to a high standard
  • Any other duties as required

We are looking for:

  • Experience in Asia markets preferred for familiarity with regional dynamics and market needs. Strong track record working with distributors and modern retail customers is essential.
  • Proven experience in a Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, or similar role. Extensive and demonstrable commercial and marketing experience essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Confident working with internal teams and external partners across multiple levels.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and high-impact roles. Self-driven, with the ability to lead regional strategies and deliver tangible results.
  • Experience in the FMCG sector is essential. Prior exposure to the drinks industry is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel regularly (approx. 20–30%) across the region.
  • Mandarin or other regional language skills advantageous but not essential.
