The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) reports to the Sales Leader of Commercial Authentication. The primary responsibilities are to grow HID Commercial Authentication footprint within the defined territory, and growth through new customer acquisition, and to strengthen product selection policies through strategic planning and relationship building with HID Solution Resellers within their region.

The RSM will be responsible for providing and managing a business plan to grow the Partner Account through established relationships, and developing new relationships. The RSM will act tactically to deliver the plan focused on selling Cybersecurity (Authentication) software and hardware solutions, credentials, and card technology, and will take an active role in providing strategic input to support the business plan including reporting and managing the account via daily updates to CRM (Salesforce.com).

A core focus will be End User demand generation, this will require follow-up on Marketing and Sales leads and targeted account list development. The RSM must effectively identify and develop opportunity with End-users positioning HID’s products.

Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Continually build and grow a robust sales pipeline
  • Successfully manage all aspects of the sales process
  • Maintain an updated and accurate forecast in CRM (Salesforce.com)
  • Execute the regional business plan
  • Organize and maintain monthly business reviews with key partners for increased productivity, enhanced services, and sales/revenue visibility
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product marketing teams
  • Work closely with pre-sales and post-sales teams
  • Support Inside Sales, Customer Service and Renewal Sales teams as necessary
Qualifications Education and Experience
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent education plus relevant industry work experience
  • 5-7 years exceeding sales quota as a sales professional in a technology vendor environment; preferably in Cybersecurity, Authentication, Identity Access & Management or Enterprise Software; Physical Access Control background with knowledge of card technologies is a plus
  • Track record of developing new business and growing a territory
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills for field sales presentations and software demonstrations
  • Self-motivated with superb organizational skills
Language and Computer Skills
  • Language: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Technical reading: Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, and international standards
  • Computer: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); proficient with Windows; proficient with CRM software such as Salesforce.com

Summary

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) reports to the Sales Leader of Commercial Authentication. The Primary responsibilities are to grow HID Commercial Authentication footprint within the defined territory, and growth through new customer acquisition, and to strengthen product selection policies through strategic planning and relationship building with HID Solution Resellers within their specified region.

The RSM will be responsible for providing and managing a business plan to grow the Partner Account through established relationships, and developing new relationships. The RSM will act tactically to deliver the plan focused on selling Cybers Security (Authentication) software and hardware solutions, credentials, and card technology, and will take an active role in providing strategic input to support the business plan including reporting and managing the account via daily updates to CRM (Salesforce.com).

A core focus will be End User demand generation, this will require follow-up on Marketing and Sales leads and targeted account list development, the RSM must effectively identify and develop opportunity with End-users positioning and specifying HID’s products.

As our Regional Sales Manager , you’ll support HID’s successby:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Continually build and grow a robust sales pipeline
  • Successfully manage all aspects of sales process
  • Maintain an updated and accurate forecast in CRM (Salesforce.com)
  • Execute the regional business plan
  • Organize and maintain monthly business reviews with key partners for increased productivity, enhanced services, and sales/revenue visibility
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product marketing teams
  • Work closely with pre-sales & post sales teams
  • Support Inside Sales, Customers Service and Renewal Sales team as necessary

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent education plus relevant industry work experience.
  • 5-7 years exceeding sales quota as a Sales professional either Inside or External sales for a technology vendor. Preferably in the, Cybersecurity, Authentication, Identity Access & Management or Enterprise Software space. Although a Physical Access Control background with a strong knowledge of card technologies would also be an advantage
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent plus relevant work experience
  • Possess a track record of developing new business and growing a territory
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills specific to field sales presentations and software demonstrations
  • Self-motivated with superb organizational skills

Language Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing .
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Proficient with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Proficient with CRM software such as Salesforce.com.
