Summary :
This position looking after the full sales planning process and also supporting sales revenue , budget and campaign activities for the department.
1) Lead and Manage the full Sales Planning and Reporting process (incl. Production, Wholesale, Retail, Order intake & Stock management)

• M nage the volume allocation process in conjunction with Central and all members of the Regional Team responsible through order management

2) Revenue Management and Reporting (incl. Options and Mulliner)
• L ading the overall Options/Mulliner business by developing and generating reports enabling full transparency over options and Mulliner uptake within the region
• L ading the overall Revenue Management topic from a sales perspective by gaining full knowledge and transparency of contributions per market/retailer and developing/generating tools and reports to best demonstrate revenue performance
• C oss-functional collaboration with other departments to ensure alignment and understanding of revenue management topics as well as acting as the key touchpoint within the sales team for both the BMAP IBP Manager, and BML counterparts
• P ovide suggested solutions leading to improved revenue generation (quality of sales), and lead related revenue generating projects
• P ovide suggested solutions leading to improved Options/Mulliner uptake, and lead related revenue generating projects
3) Sales Campaigns & Tactical Support Management
• O ersee regional tactical budget, in conjunction with Sales team and Finance

• M nage effective and timely payments of tactical support.
4) Long Range Planning (Planning Round Process - PR)
• O nership of the annual Planning Round (PR) process with BMAP and acting as the key touchpoint for BML during PR planning phases
• S eering of overall process including APAC sub hub inputs and planning, as well as utilising competitor knowledge gained through BLS exercises to validate or challenge BML-proposed long range planning
• C oss-functional alignment with other departments within BMAP as well as stakeholders within sub hubs to ensure transparency and buy-in to PR plans
• V Group alignment where necessary to ensure PR plans are aligned with overall VW Group ambitions in certain markets where applicable
Requirements:
• 2 3 years relevant experience
• A tomobile industry with region exposure would be at advantage

Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand local key trading positions in crude, clean products, fuel oil, NGL, LPG, renewables and coordinate local market analysts’ work to suggest/evaluate required analysis to ensure all aspects of a trade position is understood.
- Coordinate development and maintenance of supply and demand models for the Heavies group and understand other supply / demand models supported by other commodity strategists. This involves working closely with Trading to understand the market trends, incorporate downtime, seasonal cycles, macroeconomic variables and utilize import/export data to ensure models are accurate and accepted by trading.
- Work with market analysts to improve the accuracy of supply and demand models and forecasts for short and medium terms.
- Identify market anomalies and communicate to Trading on what physical market and forward market changes might occur. This includes understanding and communicating geopolitical and regulatory events/factors which impact price movements.
- Collaborate with traders and global team of strategists to predict market behaviours using models and identify additional fundamental data to develop forward global market views using predictive models.

- Financial, economic, statistical analysis or modelling experience required
- Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills

- 10+ years of market analysis experience at a major oil company, commodity trading house or investment bank with previous experience in leading a team of market analysts
- Prior working experience in other trading hubs like London, NYC, Dubai or Houston is a plus
- Financial, economic, statistical analysis or modelling experience required
- Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Excel, Access or other database software, statistical modelling software, and economic model development is a plus with coding experience in SQL, VBA, Python, R or other programming language
- High degree of collaborative skills with the ability to develop, lead and actively participate on cross functional teams and counterparts globally
