What will you do

The Sales Strategy & Planning Senior Manager is responsible for leading Customer-Channel inputs and requirements to the assigned APAC Segment team, partnering with the Segment and Local Markets to develop & execute Category-Channel strategies and Go-to-Market action plans to accelerate profitable sales and market share growth in APAC:

Key Responsibilities

• Works on delivering Category-Channel Strategy and Go-to-Market toolkits (select top BMC focused for the assigned Segment) covering:

o Multi-Channel Paths to Purchase

o Channel Segmentation, Investment Sufficiency & Prioritization, GP and Portfolio laddering

o Presence & Prominence objectives and Perfect Store execution guidelines

• Works closely with Segment teams and local market directors to build strong Key Customer Plans and Activation Grids

• Drives right Customer inputs into Segment plans, and connects closely with Segment teams to deliver shopper & retail execution toolkits (top BMC focused) as part of product innovation launches.

• Develops & delivers Perfect Store guidelines for the respective category, from ranging recommendation, driving the right high GP mix of codes, planograming & merchandising guidelines.

• Partners with local market directors and business insights teams to track the execution of key New Product launches and Go-to-Market plans, leverage and highlight key markets leading change.

• Drive cross-functional collaboration across teams to deliver the growth objectives, and build an APAC community for sharing best practices and scales success.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and fluent in English

• 8-10 years total business experience required across multiple FMCG environments

• Strong prior experience in customer management, negotiation, business analytics, and/or customer marketing

• Strong ability to leverage a deep understanding of key business drivers to create high-payout category plan. Integrate customer, shopper, financial, and marketplace data to create compelling rationale for business plans.

• Proven record in project management skills at regional level and ability to manage funds and resources, identify and assess risk and prioritize competing demands to deliver the greatest outcome for the company.

• Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions and drive choices from a deep understanding of regional and local market business opportunities.

• Demonstrated ability to work in multi-functional cross-cultural teams as well as effective communication and negotiation skills based on data-driven insights and facts.

• Strong presentation skills and ability to tailor skills and presentation style to a variety of key decision makers.

• Ability and passion to coach and develop reporting staff members.

• Up to 25% travel may be required.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate strategic responses to market competition, evolving client preferences, and innovations in technology and marketing. Stay ahead of industry trends and identify new opportunities through ongoing market research.
  • Perform financial modeling and analysis, including FP&A activities, to support strategic decision-making. Identify critical business questions and conduct ad-hoc analyses to inform the firm's direction.
  • Prepare and manage a wide range of internal and external materials, support client, investor, and partner meetings, and ensure timely and accurate project delivery by closely tracking progress.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, investors, and stakeholders.

What will you do

The Sales Strategy & Planning Senior Manager is responsible for leading Customer-Channel inputs and requirements to the assigned APAC Segment team, partnering with the Segment and Local Markets to develop & execute Category-Channel strategies and Go-to-Market action plans to accelerate profitable sales and market share growth in APAC:

Key Responsibilities

· Works on delivering Category-Channel Strategy and Go-to-Market toolkits (select top BMC focused for the assigned Segment) covering:

o Multi-Channel Paths to Purchase

o Channel Segmentation, Investment Sufficiency & Prioritization, GP and Portfolio laddering

o Presence & Prominence objectives and Perfect Store execution guidelines

· Works closely with Segment teams and local market directors to build strong Key Customer Plans and Activation Grids

· Drives right Customer inputs into Segment plans, and connects closely with Segment teams to deliver shopper & retail execution toolkits (top BMC focused) as part of product innovation launches.

· Develops & delivers Perfect Store guidelines for the respective category, from ranging recommendation, driving the right high GP mix of codes, planograming & merchandising guidelines.

· Partners with local market directors and business insights teams to track the execution of key New Product launches and Go-to-Market plans, leverage and highlight key markets leading change.

· Drive cross-functional collaboration across teams to deliver the growth objectives, and build an APAC community for sharing best practices and scales success.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree and fluent in English

· 8-10 years total business experience required across multiple FMCG environments

· Strong prior experience in customer management, negotiation, business analytics, and/or customer marketing

· Strong ability to leverage a deep understanding of key business drivers to create high-payout category plan. Integrate customer, shopper, financial, and marketplace data to create compelling rationale for business plans.

· Proven record in project management skills at regional level and ability to manage funds and resources, identify and assess risk and prioritize competing demands to deliver the greatest outcome for the company.

· Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions and drive choices from a deep understanding of regional and local market business opportunities.

· Demonstrated ability to work in multi-functional cross-cultural teams as well as effective communication and negotiation skills based on data-driven insights and facts.

· Strong presentation skills and ability to tailor skills and presentation style to a variety of key decision makers.

· Ability and passion to coach and develop reporting staff members.

· Up to 25% travel may be required.
