Job Description

Job Title: Director of Product Marketing

As the Director of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for building a stellar product marketing team and collaborating closely with product and business teams to achieve overall revenue goals, win-rate, customer usage, NPS, and successful new product launches.

Your primary focus will be on product positioning, ensuring our core products are differentiated from the competition across various customer segments. This involves continuous market research to fine-tune our product positioning strategies.

You will also develop high-quality marketing collateral for internal and external communications, train sales teams on product positioning, collaborate with the marketing team to generate a solid pipeline through effective communication, and set up a Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) operations team to enhance product usage through regular drip campaigns.

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, with a background in marketing, pre-sales, engineering, or product management. You must possess the ability to present technical concepts effectively, coordinate activities across departments for product launches, and demonstrate core product marketing skills such as messaging, positioning, and competitive differentiation.

Cross-functional project management skills are essential as you will work with various teams including marketing, success, sales, and product. A customer-centric approach, exceptional writing skills, and experience in developing content and copywriting are crucial. An MBA is preferred, and occasional travel to events or other office locations may be required.

Preferred qualifications include experience in SaaS products, software product management, technical sales, business development, and marketing to B2B enterprise SaaS decision-makers. Knowledge of the software sales cycle, product development process, and enterprise sales functions will be advantageous.
