What you will be working on:
At National Environment Agency (NEA), we are always on the lookout for high performing individuals who share our aspiration of making Singapore one of the world’s best living environments.
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Lead / Principal Product Manager to lead our product team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of NEA product portfolio. The Lead / Principal Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, ensure market fit, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Vision and Leadership: Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the agency’s overall goals. Lead the product team to achieve this vision.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Market and Customer Research: Conduct thorough market analysis and customer research to identify needs, trends, and opportunities. Utilize insights to inform product development and positioning.
Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on business impact, customer feedback, and market demand.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process.
Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) or OKRs to measure product success and inform decision-making. Use data-driven insights to make informed adjustments to the product strategy.
Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer within the organization. Ensure that customer needs and feedback are integrated into product planning and development.
Innovation and Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive product evolution.
Lead in development of digital roadmap and introduction of appropriate digital solutions to partner with cross functional business teams, WOG and industry partners to achieve greater business outcomes
Mentor other product managers: Provide guidance and leadership to fellow product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration while developing strategic thinking capabilities across the product team.
Track product performance: Monitor and analyse product metrics and user feedback to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs, enabling data-driven decisions for product improvements.
Lead in organisation wide Digital, Design and Data capabilities development, digital innovation and continuous improvement to build a high performing team
Support the annual submission of the Digital Government Blueprint (DGB) KPIs to Smart Nation Office, and support MOF in the preparation of Ministry Family Digitalisation Plan
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of managing successful products and mentoring other product managers.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
