Job DescriptionThis is a 2-year contract position in Tech, Maintenance (WDA).
What You Will Do- Provide support for calibration of instruments and preventative maintenance (PM's) plans, as requested.
- Responsible for written documentation of activities.
- Responsible for SAP transactions and change control activities including spare part lists and Preventative Maintenance (PMs) plans.

- Participates in the improvement to enhance equipment or system efficiency, reduce energy usage and other cost saving/avoidance projects.
- Performs jobs assigned by Maintenance Lead pertaining to installation, modification, fabrication, testing, servicing and repairs of equipment, with adherence to site change control procedures or minor projects.
- Performs testing, commissioning, qualification (IQ, OQ) activities.
- Carries out Safety, Health, and Environment improvement initiatives (i.e., audits, training, etc.) and submit recommendation.
- Performs job assignments by Maintenance Lead pertaining to equipment or system or documentation or housekeeping.
- Executes CMMS Work Instruction from process plants (e.g. leakages, replace faulty part, troubleshooting, repair).
- Participate in Safety, Health, and Environment, Business Compliance, cGMP and all other compliance-related matters, where applicable.
- Supervise and oversee Third Party Contractors, where applicable.
- Any other duties as and when assigned by the Supervisor / Manager.
- Use tools like Real time problem solving (RTPS), Fishbone or 5 Whys to solve problem.
- Assesses simple issues and suggest paths towards resolution.
- Able to properly assess the situation and understand when to escalate to a higher-level Leading Self or Others, and Department.
- Works with minimum direct supervision.
- Trains and guides technicians in the day/shift teams.
- Seeks advice in personal and professional development.

- NTC / ITC / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrument & Control or Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
- PUB electrician's license will be an advantage.

- Good working experience in Electrical & Instrumental discipline will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of cGMP and good documentation practice is an advantage.

Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance of all equipment, machines, and automation stations in the Optics department, with a focus on minimising downtime and supporting operational efficiency.
This position reports to the Principal Maintenance Engineer and is part of the Manufacturing Maintenance team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.
Responsibilities- Equipment & Machine Maintenance: Attend to and resolve all optics equipment and machine issues to minimise downtime. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to plan.
- Record Keeping & Inventory: Update and maintain machine downtime records for OEE monitoring. Manage essential spare parts inventory and coordinate repairs with suppliers and makers.
- Contractor & Vendor Supervision: Supervise external contractors/vendors, communicate effectively with suppliers, and prepare/send parts back to machine makers for repairs.
- Relevant machine maintenance experience preferred. Electrical/Electronic background, PLC and robotics knowledge, and experience with vacuum chambers or evaporators are advantageous.
- Nitec or Diploma in Mechatronic, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, hands-on, independent, safety-minded, and able to communicate and coordinate effectively.
