- We are seeking an experienced Electrical Power Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for attending site surveys and meetings with clients and contractors.
Job Description
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a minimum of one year's experience in the field. You will be required to prepare reports and method statements as needed, and perform all electrical works in accordance with EMA regulations and guidelines.
- Responsibilities:
- To attend to site survey/meetings/discussions with client/contractors/sub-contractors on related matters together with the LEW (when required). Providing feasible solutions and coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
- Ability to prepare report and method statement whenever necessary. Perform all electrical works in adherence to EMA regulations and guidelines with the LEW supervision
- Assisting the PE/LEW to carry out regular site inspections on LT and HT installations to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.

- Able to interpret basic schematics and SLD diagrams. Required to take on a Specialist Equipment role, may be sent to receive specialised training and subsequently providing training to internal staff.
- Plan and execution of corrective or preventive maintenance programme. Participate in and support Annual Shutdown exercises as and when required. Ensure proper housekeeping of spare parts, equipment and tools.
- Assist the LEW in Test and commissioning of electrical system. Provide excellent service to meet client expectations. Ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures.
