About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support our Power Plant operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating all electrical equipment and plant utilities, ensuring they meet contractual, technical, and commercial requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update all drawings, data, and maintenance records for electrical equipment and plant utilities.
- Ensure proper preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance is carried out for all electrical equipment and plant utilities.
- Perform technical evaluations on external service engagements and material purchases.
- Assist in preparing annually maintenance budgetary costs for electrical equipment and plant utilities.
- Provide guidance and advice to maintenance staff to ensure quality maintenance is carried out according to good engineering practice.
- Ensure subordinates are adequately trained and recommend necessary training.
- Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided and used by subordinates during work execution.
- Ensure all Power Plant jobs are executed in line with statutory requirements and power plant policies and procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Additional tasks and responsibilities given by power plant management.
- Collaborate with the team to review plant Risk Assessment documents.
- Coordinate with external vendors and authorities to complete assigned jobs.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and significant experience in electrical maintenance and operations. Strong technical skills, excellent communication, and leadership abilities are essential for this role.
