We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Finance Director who will support the Group CFO in coordinating and directing the finance operations of CMG, including overseeing accounting operations, gathering and analysing financial data to help with decision-making across the group, implementation of financial tools and systems across the group and compliance matters.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Finance Director who will support the Group CFO in coordinating and directing the finance operations of CMG, including overseeing accounting operations, gathering and analysing financial data to help with decision-making across the group, implementation of financial tools and systems across the group and compliance matters.
You will be working closely with the executive team, and divisional finance teams and department heads in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Group CFO in all matters relating to group finance-led responsibilities and initiatives, and in special projects
- Where applicable, support these initiatives and projects at the divisional level, including fundraising, M&A and post-acquisition integration
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly divisional financial statements and key metrics for management and investor reporting
- Coordinate with divisional finance teams to prepare reliable cash flow projections and report regularly on cash runway
- Drive finance business partnering with key functional and commercial teams to support decision making
- Support the execution of financial initiatives, including operational finance improvements and systems optimisation
- Evaluate business scenarios and investment opportunities to support long-term strategic financial planning at the group level
- Support in group tax structuring and in ensuring compliance with statutory reporting, audits, regulatory and other matters
- Maintain all group legal entity charts and shareholding records
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA, and related certifications such as CFA are preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional finance experience, preferably in a technology and/or music-related industry
- Strong financial planning, modelling, and analysis skills, with a proven ability to drive strategic financial decision-making
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to various stakeholders
- Proficiency in financial software and systems; proven track record of automating financial and accounting reporting systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; experience with global operations is preferred
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail
This role is based in Singapore, with 3 in-office days per week.

Job Objective:
- Manage Finance Teams in Singapore and the Philippines. Around 40 employees.
- Directs and ensures that operations of the Accounting/ Finance Department in Singapore and Manila comply with the company's procedures and applicable legislation. - Handles external relationships with financial institutions and local authorities, especially tax regarding financial matters.
- Liaises with external financial and tax auditors and maintains relationships with them, to ease the provision of all required information and contribute towards the accurate execution of audits. Monitors and follows up on the results of the audits, so as to protect the company's interests.
- Develops the budget of the Ship Management Centre as well as its periodical revisions and upon approval reviews its accurate implementation, as well as develops analytical management reporting, identifies potential discrepancies, provides reasoning of findings, and proposes solutions that will increase the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the Ship Management Centre.
- Provides financial support and guidance to the country's VAS, CSC and/or MTC units, to increase their compliance with THE COMPANY policies and procedures and enhance their effective and efficient operation.

- Ensures the most efficient cash management of the Ship Management Centre, to meet and support the effective operation of all departments. Oversees and approves the electronic purchasing orders raised by the Fleet Department and the LPSQ Department, in compliance with THE COMPANY policies and procedures.
- Ensures the efficient and effective operation of the Ship Management Centre's accounting department and implements all required improvements, to comply with local rules and legislation and meet the standards of THE COMPANY.
- Coordinate with GSC and make sure all accountings activities outsourced to GSC are timely and accurately performed.
- Ensures proper monthly technical variance reports and cash position statements for vessels under Ship Management Centre's management are published and supervises the prompt settlement of all accounts related to the Ship Management Centre and/or to the Ship Management Centre -managed vessels, ensuring the smooth and unhindered operation of the company and the vessels.

Education & Qualification:
- University degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
- Professional accountant qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA)
Work Experience:
- At least 10 years of Shore Experience with Ship Management or
- At least 10 Years in Operations/Management of Ship Owning Business with International Exposure
Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
