Our client aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable, and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine business challenges.
JOB PURPOSE
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of operational transactions;
- Enforcing internal controls and other finance controlling procedures;
- Fulfilment of all reporting deadlines; and being the finance partner to other departments
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing by preparing the necessary MJE for A2R to post in blackline. To run month-end Opex WBS settlement and perform the necessary reconciliation.
- Responsible for setting up project master data in SAP.
- Coordinate with global Finance counterpart and global internal Control team, support SGP process owners to conduct yearly self-assessment (CSA) / internal control testing (ICT), follow up action plans and ensure on-time action closure.
- Responsible for supporting rigorous site budget build-up process as below:
- Set up spending template and work closely with stakeholders to gather and validate the budget input.
- Compare actual spend against budgets and forecasts, and perform variance analysis to explain the differences in performance and make improvements going forward.
- To support budget upload data into TM1 platform.
- Implement dashboard such as Power Bi or other Financial tools to support stakeholder for monthly performance review.
- Support quarterly and yearly stock take with Supply Chain and spare parts inventory count with Engineering.
- Perform any other duties as assigned and directed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a Degree in Accountancy;
- Possess 5-8 years of relevant working experience in similar manufacturing companies, with the first few years in a public accounting firm
- Possess working knowledge of product costing and production analysis ;
- Be proficient in financial accounting and analysis ;
- Have working knowledge of FRS and IFRS
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and SAP;

What you will be working on
The incumbent is responsible for planning, securing & managing various sources of fund to support ActiveSG priorities and institutionalise a system to assess the effectiveness of allocated resources to achieve the deliverables of Vision 2030.
Roles & Responsibilities :
• To work with internal stakeholders to understand the funding requirements of each division and the cost methodology and assumptions for funding projections.
• To set out the internal process for resourcing to support the annual work planning exercise
• To work closely with Strategy Group & Finance BP, and internal stakeholders for block budget, the annual work plan budget exercise and supplementary budget exercise.
• To integrate efforts across groups towards achievement of workplan deliverables.
• To be the Point of contact for other sources of fund
• To work with internal stakeholders to understand the business/operating models and deliverables of key projects and work packages
• To set out the internal process and work with internal stakeholders for the annual budget utilization and re-allocation exercise
• To identify relevant data sources, select the appropriate methodologies for analysis, establish baseline and provide annual assessment on project efficiencies and impact
• To plan for long-term resource sustainability of ActiveSG. Explore how to reframe structures to enhance resource efficiency.
• To assess risks applicable to ActiveSG and identify mitigating measures to reduce likelihood and impact.
• To develop and track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to measure performance against key risks
• To provide advice to centre management on audit or finance related issues.
• To manage budget efficiently and proper classification of expenses
• To provide sound recommendations and compliance to Financial Regulations
