We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Cleaning & Environmental Services to oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure high service standards for our clients.
The role involves managing site teams, coordinating work schedules, and ensuring all operations run efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan, organise, and supervise cleaning operations across assigned sites.
• Lead and manage a team of supervisors and cleaning staff to meet service delivery targets.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower allocation, and equipment usage.
• Ensure proper handling and application of cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain service quality and adherence to SOPs.
• Liaise with clients to address service feedback, complaints, and improvement requests.
• Prepare operational reports, cost control plans, and performance evaluations.
• Train and mentor staff to enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety awareness.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Environmental Studies, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in cleaning, facilities management, or environmental services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning processes, chemical safety, and equipment handling.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to prepare operational documentation.

Other Information :

• Salary: SGD 5,500 – SGD 1000 per month (commensurate with experience)
• 5.5-day work week; willing to work flexible hours if required for site visits.

You will supervise and manage various outsourced services under the Environmental Services Department. You will be responsible to evaluate, implement and monitor Environmental Services related programs and services to ensure that it is delivered safely and promptly in the Hospital for our patients, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities
Monitor KPIs of the various outsourced services under Environmental Services. This includes housekeeping services, linen and laundry, pest control service, waste disposal, sustainability and landscape services.
Review and report the services providers’ performance against targets through monthly reports.
Conduct analysis and feedback on the variances of the KPIs.
Work with the service providers for performance improvements.
Prepare and monitor both capital and operating expenditure projects for the annual budgeting exercise.
Attend to incidents and investigate promptly on the feedback received from patients, visitors and/or staff and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
Perform audit checks to ensure that the services are satisfactorily carried out and to ensure compliance to safety and infection control standards.
Conduct joint inspections and walkabout with service providers to assess their performance and identify gaps and areas for improvements.
Writing proposals and approval papers.
Provide detailed specifications for the purpose of calling for Request for Proposals (RFP) and/or Invitation to Quotes (ITQ).
Undertake improvement projects.
Any other duties assigned from time to time.
