You are a leader in Environmental Health. This role will see you establishing company-wide standards and ensuring regulatory compliance, as well as digitising EHS workflows to enhance performance.

As the Head of EHS, your key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing EHS policies, standards, and procedures across the company.
• Formulating strategic policies that reflect changing operational needs.
• Promoting a safety-first culture among site personnel, embedding EHS excellence in all work activities.
• Collaborating with site management, the EHS team, and stakeholders to achieve high EHS standards and targets on all projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Professional Degree Certificate or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural) or equivalent.
• At least 12 years of EHS experience in the construction field, with at least 7 years in a managerial capacity for building projects.
• Strong knowledge in EHS management, regulations, and planning capabilities to support construction progress and operations in Singapore.
• Good experience in environmental and OSHA compliance, sustainability, risk assessment and reduction, occupational health and safety, and industrial hygiene.

Requirements include:

• Excellent communication skills to articulate vision, goals, plans, strategies, and values.
• Maintaining a high level of accountability and presence to ensure all projects perform to safety KPIs and other pre-defined EHS goals.
• Proactive and forward-thinking when faced with challenges; able to adapt and respond decisively to issues.
• Believer in empirical data and measurement as the basis for decision-making to improve efficiency and EHS performance.
• Organized and detail-oriented; able to scrutinize safety plans and identify potential safety risks in site activities for effective risk management.

Scope of Trainer:

• Conduct Awareness Training
• Deliver of training sessions to various industries
• Engage with Participants
• Maintain continuous improvement processes by teaching methods
• identify the learning requirements of different stakeholders

Requirement :

• Holds ACTA or ACLP Certification
• Lead Auditor certification in ISO 50001 and ISO 14001
• 5 years' experience as trainer in ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 Course

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, emergency response, and disaster planning.
• Create, manage, and review environmental programs and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor legislative changes in environmental law across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, India, and Thailand; conduct applicability assessments.
• Consult with stakeholders and government agencies on environmental and risk management issues.
• Perform risk assessment reviews related to environmental and risk management.
• Review and follow-up Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemicals to ensure compliance.
• Develop and provide environmental training in line with regulatory and company requirements.
• Collect, evaluate, and communicate environmental metrics and performance data.
• Prepare mandatory regulatory reports and submit license and permit applications to agencies.
• Assist in sustainability initiatives by participating in committees and projects.
• Conduct incident investigations, determine root causes, implement corrective/preventive actions, and verify effectiveness.
• Organize and support outreach and promotional activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Health Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in semiconductor or manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing environmental and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) programs.
• Proficient in hazard assessment, data analysis, and root cause investigation.
• Knowledge in environmental protection is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
