Chemical and Environment Engineer

• Operate water treatment plants, including demineralization, wastewater treatment, and electro chlorination.
• Manage chemical dosing systems for boiler water treatment and sampling systems.
• Support engineers in plant operations, implementing Permit-to-Work systems via safe isolation/de-isolation of plant equipment.
• Perform routine plant checks and laboratory analyses.
• Ensure chemical safety and compliance with environmental regulations through site monitoring.
• Assist in purchasing reagents, consumables, and equipment maintenance.

• Minimum diploma in Chemical Engineering.
• Preferably at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Location: Jurong Island (transport provided).
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am - 5:30 pm.

Swimming Pool Service Professional

We are seeking a skilled individual to fill this position, responsible for the maintenance and repair of swimming pool equipment.

About the Role

• This is a full-time position that requires flexibility on Saturdays.
• The ideal candidate will possess a Class 2 or 3 driving license and be physically fit with good communication skills.
• No prior experience or qualifications are necessary as on-job training will be provided.
• This is an island-wide position that requires frequent travel.
• Able to swim is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance of swimming pools and equipment in good working condition.
• Maintenance of swimming pool water chemistry.
• Conduct underwater inspection works in swimming pools.
• Undertakes other duties as and when requested by Supervisor.
• Update progress of given tasks to Supervisor.
• Liaise with customers for weekly maintenance work.

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring the treatment plant to treat and dispose of domestic wastewater generated from the site or labor camps.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring the STP to ensure treated water meets discharge standards.
• Checking and controlling process parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, TSS, turbidity, etc.
• Regular inspection and maintenance of pumps, motors, blowers, valves, dosing systems, and other equipment.
• Conducting routine backwashing, sludge removal, and cleaning operations.
• Maintaining logbooks for daily inflow, outflow, chemical usage, sludge generation, and energy consumption.
• Collecting and sending water and sludge samples for lab testing as per schedule.
• Ensuring proper storage and handling of chemicals (e.g., chlorine, alum, etc.).
• Identifying faults and coordinating repairs with maintenance teams.
• Following all safety, health, and environmental regulations and PPE protocols.
• Reporting any deviations or emergencies to the site engineer or supervisor.

• Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical
• Min 8-10 years experience in STP
• Certification in STP/ETP operation (optional but preferred)
• Sound knowledge of STP processes – MBBR, SBR, or conventional systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, SOPs, and safety guidelines
• Familiar with logbook maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Physically fit and able to work in site conditions
• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage
• Able to work shift, 6 day per week
