Responsibilities:

I am responsible for supporting the digital shopping experience (merchandising, marketing and checkout) for the ecommerce business, as well as driving the KPIs for customer satisfaction and online performance in my country. Job Summary:
We are a SME, seeking an experienced and strategic E-Commerce Manager to lead our E-commerce team and drive the growth of our online sales channels. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, and the ability to innovate and improve operations while managing and motivating the team to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the e-commerce team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize online sales and platform performance.
  • Identify opportunities for platform improvement and operational efficiency; propose and execute new initiatives aligned with company goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, logistics, IT, and customer service departments to ensure seamless e-commerce operations.
  • Oversee product listings, pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory management to maximize profitability.
  • Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to make data-driven decisions and adjustments.
  • Ensure the team adheres to company policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Stay updated on e-commerce trends, tools, and best practices, integrating relevant innovations into the business.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for e-commerce platform partners and vendors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in e-commerce, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing a high-performing team.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms ( Shopify, Amazon, Lazada, Shopee) and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, innovative thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

I am responsible for supporting the digital shopping experience (merchandising, marketing and checkout) for the ecommerce business, as well as driving the KPIs for customer satisfaction and online performance in my country. This leadership position is expected to provide significant input and contribution to the overall strategic and operational direction of the Decathlon digital commerce function.

RESPONSIBILITY 1

DRIVE PERFORMANCE ON DIGITAL COMMERCE THROUGH STRONG CAMPAIGNS AND TRADING EXECUTION

  • Own the activation plan to drive sales and profitability, staying competitive in the local market.
  • Lead homepage and campaign strategy aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with commercial, sport, and marketing teams to define KPIs and forecast campaign performance.
  • Report on campaign results and suggest improvements to address customer pain points.
  • Monitor local competitors—pricing, assortment, and strategy.

RESPONSIBILITY 2

LEVERAGE DATA TO DRIVE DEMAND AND OPTIMIZE THE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

  • Develop merchandising and shopping tools strategy to enhance the online experience.
  • Ensure a consistent and seamless journey across digital channels.
  • Guarantee full visibility of the total offer (1P-2P-3P), including local assortments.
  • Use web analytics to track key metrics: sales, conversion, traffic, engagement, and sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITY 3

ALIGN STAKEHOLDERS TO DELIVER YOUR STRATEGY

  • Partner with commercial and marketing on policies, campaigns, and brand activations.
  • Work with UX/CRO teams to evolve testing and development strategies.
  • Collaborate with sport offering network and go-to-market managers to adapt the offer to local needs.
  • Coordinate with supply chain on stock levels and local availability.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company standards on listings, pricing, and sourcing.

RESPONSIBILITY 4

LEAD THE DIGITAL TRADING TEAM TO DELIVER SPORT-LEVEL PERFORMANCE

  • Manage team structure with the Digital Commerce Director to meet evolving business needs.
