JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Cluster Director of Corporate Communications, the Cluster E-commerce & Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the Cluster Director of Commercial Strategy & Sales and Cluster Director of Revenue Management to ensure a cohesive approach to align digital strategies on direct and indirect with revenue goals. This role involves managing the hotel websites, OTAs, CRM, digital marketing and social media campaigns to ensure consistent and effective online engagement with potential and existing guests. What you will be DOING:

Strategic planning

· Participate in the strategic planning, marketing plan and budgeting processes to provide expert input.

Website Management

· Oversee the design, functionality, and content of the hotel website (All.com / Brand.com / Standalone).

OTAs

Social Media Management

Job Purpose

As Social Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for achieving a 10x increase in social commerce performance across the region. This involves analyzing mature social commerce models, internal and industry-wide, to develop tailored strategies for different markets, considering their unique characteristics and opportunities. This role is pivotal in establishing Colgate as a leader in social commerce, driving brand uplift, revenue growth, and market share.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Social Commerce Strategy:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive social commerce strategies aligned with overall business objectives to drive sales, increase brand engagement, and expand market reach across the region.
    • Identify and evaluate emerging social commerce trends, platforms, and technologies, and pilot innovative approaches to optimize performance and maintain a competitive edge.
    • Create a strategy and roadmap for Colgate to become a leader in social commerce across Asia Pacific, including commercial strategy, content creation, partner models, and other aspects of social commerce.
  2. Capability Building:
    • Develop and deliver training programs and resources to enhance social commerce knowledge and skills across marketing teams, ensuring consistent execution and best practice sharing.
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements to drive social commerce growth.
  3. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
    • Define KPIs and develop tracking and reporting mechanisms to monitor social commerce activities, providing regular insights and recommendations for optimization.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of social commerce activities and alignment with broader business goals.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including social media platforms, agencies, and technology providers, to leverage their expertise and resources.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in social commerce strategy development and implementation, particularly within APAC.
  • Strong understanding of emerging digital trends and technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with key SEA platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, etc.
  • Experience with livestreaming, short-video content creation, and influencer management.
  • Experience with mainland China platforms is a plus.
