About The Role

As an Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop your own team of Amazon Associates; one of your main focuses will be motivating, mentoring, and coaching your team. A day in the life

You’ll work on a shift pattern at one of our sites. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You’ll also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation.

A typical day is varied, including everything from routine team management and daily operational responsibilities to process improvements and wide-scale operational contingency tasks. You’ll also be a role model and mentor to new managers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
  • Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques
  • Experience working in another logistics environment

Preferred Qualifications

Key job responsibilities
Develop and execute a customer-led strategy for growth for media agencies at local and regional level including close partnership with local Amazon Ads senior management

Build and manage a detailed engagement strategy, including local and regional business reviews

Develop commercial structures to create incremental opportunities for growth across traded and programmatic products

Manage education and enablement of key agency functions including delivery of agency-wide events

Identify opportunities for agency collaboration around large-scale creative solutions – including proactive engagement with creative agencies

Liaise with global teams to identify transformative opportunities for agency partnerships offered by Amazon Ads products

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years experience in media sales, marketing, or business development
Experience managing internal and external relationships
Strong digital advertising experience
Knowledge of the programmatic landscape
Strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
Bachelor's degree or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience in agency development at a major media company
Business development experience working with media agencies
Proven track record of delivering results and driving ambitious revenue growth
Ability to successfully engage and negotiate at C-Level within agencies and agency groups
MBA Degree

You will be responsible to expand and optimize data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collect for cross-functional teams.

  • Salary up to $7,000 + AWS + VB
  • Hybrid working arrangement with supportive working environment

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, deploy and continuously improve ETL tasks and be involved in data preparation for descriptive and prescriptive modelling.
  2. Design and develop data pipelines for data modelling, mining and production.
  3. Ensure data architecture is in place to support routine and ad-hoc requirements of data analytics team, stakeholders and the business.
  4. Leverage on variety of programming languages and data crawling/processing tools to make raw data clean and highly available for use in descriptive and predictive modelling.
  5. Ensure data assets and data catalogs are organized and stored in an efficient way.
  6. Perform PL/SQL and SQL tuning and optimization of newly develop and existing applications.

Requirements:

  • min. 3 years' working experience in data architecture, data warehousing, data processing, data modelling and ETL/ELT, familiarity with real-time streaming solutions.
  • Working experience in database development for OracleSQL/PLSQL
  • Working experience in AWS cloud environment, familiar with solutions such as EC2, S3, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis
  • Skills in Python, R, SQL for data cleaning, processing and aggregation
  • Hands-on experience in data crawling, data modelling, data lake formation and data warehouse construction
