- Perform daily scheduled/routine equipment maintenance
- Perform monthly samples submission for legal compliances
- Perform planning, excuting, controlling and closing for projects.
- Execute project installation, machine modifications and productivity improvements.
- Conduct operational training and maintenance guidance for new joined members.
- Submit daily, weekly, monthly reports to suprvisor on time.
- Ensure compliance to ISO Operating Procedures with Safe Practices.
- Any other duties as assigned by Superior.
Requirements:

- NTC-2/3 or NITEC in any discipline or equivalent

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring the treatment plant to treat and dispose of domestic wastewater generated from the site or labor camps.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating and monitoring the STP to ensure treated water meets discharge standards.
- Checking and controlling process parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, TSS, turbidity, etc.
- Regular inspection and maintenance of pumps, motors, blowers, valves, dosing systems, and other equipment.
- Conducting routine backwashing, sludge removal, and cleaning operations.
- Maintaining logbooks for daily inflow, outflow, chemical usage, sludge generation, and energy consumption.
- Collecting and sending water and sludge samples for lab testing as per schedule.
- Ensuring proper storage and handling of chemicals (e.g., chlorine, alum, etc.).
- Identifying faults and coordinating repairs with maintenance teams.
- Following all safety, health, and environmental regulations and PPE protocols.
- Reporting any deviations or emergencies to the site engineer or supervisor.
- Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical
- Min 8-10 years experience in STP
- Certification in STP/ETP operation (optional but preferred)
- Sound knowledge of STP processes – MBBR, SBR, or conventional systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, SOPs, and safety guidelines
- Familiar with logbook maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Physically fit and able to work in site conditions
- Basic computer knowledge is an advantage
- Able to work shift, 6 day per week
