We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our growing team. What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain test strategies, frameworks, and plans covering both functional and non-functional testing.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to create and execute testing plans across the product lifecycle.
- Drive and advocate best practices in Quality Engineering, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and testing standards.
- Take ownership of testing delivery from requirement analysis through to product release.
- Identify risks, blind spots, and performance gaps while recommending corrective actions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the QA team, helping them adopt automation, BDD, and TDD approaches.
- Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve testing strategies and product reliability.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in cloud, SaaS, eCommerce, or internet-based environments .
- Strong background in working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, etc.
- Proven experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Robot Framework, QTP, Silk, or Watir .
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in cross-functional teams practicing CI/CD .
- Knowledge and application of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) .
- Ability to write simple test scripts or code to validate functionality.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent work experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to Non-Functional Testing (security, load, performance).
- Experience leading large-scale projects or products in collaboration with business, design, and technology teams.
- Familiarity with automated deployment and release engineering processes .
