About the Role

Our client provides comprehensive cloud management services and solutions, covering setup, migration, ongoing operations, and optimization. Services include engineering and facility management for mission-critical environments such as data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity sites.

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure that supports critical business systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, technical expertise, and a passion for maintaining high service availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new network solutions and improve or expand existing ones.
• Install, configure, and support network equipment, including routers, load balancers, and switches.
• Analyse network problems, perform troubleshooting, and track issues through resolution.
• Monitor device status, bandwidth usage, and network performance.

The Network and Hardware Engineer will be responsible for performing on-site server maintenance and hardware replacement activities on shop floors. This role requires adherence to established maintenance guidelines and processes to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of server infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade networks and in-house servers.

• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.

• Perform physical inspection of server components and replace defective hardware as required

• Conduct regular maintenance activities, including upgrading server BIOS firmware and applying necessary patches, as per organizational guidelines

• Ensure that all server maintenance tasks are planned and scheduled to minimize business impact.

• Coordinate logistics for defective hardware replacement and ensure material collection by vendors

• Maintain complete hardware and software configuration records.

• Ensure compliance with maintenance agreements and renewals for server AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).
