Responsibilities
Prepare mechanical datasheets, ensuring work is done in accordance with procedures, codes, and standards
Prepare Equipment mechanical Datasheets
Perform activities such as issue of Material Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluation
Review Vendor Drawings and Documentation as per relevant Technical Practices
Co-ordinate with inter-discipline staff on all technical issues to arrive at appropriate resolution
Co-ordinate with Vendor/OEM’s on technical matters and ensure that action is taken where necessary
Lead small to medium scale projects
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Plant Projects
Knowledge of Pharma Process Equipment & Packages and Relevant International Design Codes & Standards
Well conversant with Pharma GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and Qualification requirements

A key subject matter expert in the Engineering and Asset Strategy Division, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support, troubleshooting, and strategic guidance for all rotating machinery within the power generation facility. Our major Oil & Energy Downstream Client is urgently looking for Construction Engineer (Rotating Equipment) who will be responsible for rotating equipment (RE) related activities planning i.e., developing efficient work plans (work packages, tasks, sequences, materials, craft/ manpower and resources). You will collect RE scopes from various disciplines. Evaluate the work scopes, perform scope optimization, and identify the scope of work that can be executed.   • Multiple stakeholders to engage and manage, especially in an existing manufacturing plant environment with SIMOPS considerations. (E.g., Live plant, Turnaround environments)
  • Prioritize field execution sequence and resources when conflict arises. Manage available resources well, optimally and demonstrate a high level of resourcefulness. Evaluate work processes, anticipate potential problems, alter plans as needed to achieve effective implementation and drive results.
  • Where required to complete the planned works, work extended hour, and weekend works (Including during Turnarounds or construction period)

1. Inventory & Stock Management
Maintain accurate records of spares in the store.

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronic Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Preferably with at least 2 years' working experience in automotive, aerospace or heavy equipment environment.
  • Fresh graduates from local universities are welcome to apply.

Skills

  • Comfortable to work hands-on in a maintenance workshops environment alongside other Engineers, Assistant Engineers and Technical Officers.
  • Adept with diagnostics and reliability engineering methods such as FMECA, Fault Tree analysis etc.
  • Possess basic understanding of hydraulic/electrical/mechanical systems for vehicular platforms.
  • Able to read and understand technical/ electrical drawings.
  • Equipped with Solidworks Software skills for 3D Modelling and Drafting.
  • Possess knowledge in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to present ideas, approach, and objectives clearly.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to work independently and as a team effectively adjusting oneself flexibly to different work situations.
  • Effective organizational and planning skills.
