Private Equity / Search Fund Intern

Job scope
Associates will directly report into the principals and get mentorship on topics such as industry research, deal sourcing, due diligence and value creation in the process of performing tasks including (but not limited to):
- (Industry scans) Conduct desktop or primary research (including expert or potential customer interviews) on industries and companies
- (Deal sourcing) Support outreach efforts both through calling and emails
- (Financial modeling) Build LBO models to evaluate attractiveness of deals
(Investment thesis / due diligence) Synthesise analysis in powerpoint decks and excel models, including

+ Manage and resolve escalations, act as single point of contact within SAP

+ Partner with SAP's ecosystem, marketing, solution engineering, and global partner organization to ensure strategic alignment.
+ Report regularly to leadership on progress, risks, and impact metrics.
**Solution Advocacy & Thought Leadership**
+ Articulate SAP's value proposition for AI, Public Cloud, and industry cloud in the context of value creation and operational excellence.
+ Attend PE/VC executive briefings and roundtables to build brand equity and thought leadership with PE/VC communities.
**Qualifications**
+ Significant experience in enterprise software sales, partner/channel management, or strategic business development.
+ Proven track record of driving complex sales cycles with C-level stakeholders.
+ Experience working with or selling into private equity or venture capital-backed organizations
+ Deep understanding of ERP, public cloud, and AI technologies.
+ Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and influence skills.
+ Experience of working in a global multi-national organisation across different cultures and time zones
+ Familiarity with SAP product suite or equivalent enterprise applications.
+ Experience working with implementation partners and managing go-to-market motions.
+ Strong executive presence and consultative selling ability
+ Ability to travel as required to meet clients and partners.
