Responsibilities: -
- Process and dispense medicines (under supervision) to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Manage daily ward request orders for inpatient supplies.
- Assists Pharmacist in the areas of procurement, receipt and processing of drugs in the pharmacy to meet the internal and external customer requirements.
- Track and maintain records of inventory including drug usage, expiring drugs and stock counts.
- Complies with Corporate Quality and Regulatory standards and hospital’s SOPs.
- Assists the Pharmacist in day-to-day operation as directed.
- Performs any other duties as and when requested by Pharmacist and / or Pharmacy Manager.
Qualifications and Experiences: -
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent OR possessed a valid certificate for Pharmacy Technician course.
- Relevant experience in inpatient setting or have experience in inventory management would be an added advantage.
- Work Days: Mondays to Fridays and Alternate Saturdays or Sundays, based on roster
- Work Hours: 0830 hrs to 1730 hrs or 0900 hrs to 1800 hrs, based on roster
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
