Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven professional with a passion for corporate communications. To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in corporate communications and public relations, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or logistics industry.
- Proven experience in digital content development, digital marketing, and campaign execution.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across various formats and platforms.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Experience in public relations agencies or communications consultancies, and existing media relationships.

We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced PR leader who understands how to drive awareness for a B2B Fintech like us. As the first dedicated PR hire, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape the future of PR at Aspire. Take charge and build our PR and communications plan to generate earned media coverage and help to grow Aspire’s reputation internationally.
What you’ll be doing:- Plan and execute PR programs to grow Aspire’s reputation and brand awareness, and help us acquire new customers
- Drive the strategy to deliver product news and PR campaigns and ensure we’re well-known among relevant press
- Build up and work with local spokespeople and the leadership team to support our goals
- Leverage your existing media relationships and continue to build more to enhance our reach
- Deliver consistent media coverage, speaking opportunities, awards submissions (etc) to continuously grow product awareness
- Champion PR internally and lend your functional expertise across the business
- You’re an experienced PR leader, comfortable being the first PR hire in a business and you bring a blueprint to design a team to match our business needs
- You’re a world-class communicator and storyteller, able to take technical jargon and make it appropriate for external audiences
- You’ve managed people before and know how to develop top PR talent
- You have a pre-established list of relevant press contacts
- You know what a high performing PR team looks like and how to collaborate successfully with other functions and stakeholders across the business
- You’re experienced in crisis comms and helping a business manage reputational risk
- You have the ability to create headlines from nothing and are unfazed by the concept of needing to secure coverage in the absence of major product announcements
- You’re experienced working with company leaders and in building profiles of spokespeople through speaking engagements, interviews, opinion and bylines and pitches
- You’re experienced creating and delivering awareness-building campaigns, programs and guerrilla marketing concepts
- You understand what fast-paced startup culture is like and you’re excited by joining a team who works at speed
- You come with an established background in Fintech, finance, banking, payments (or similar). Working for a B2B or Startups or VC organisation or would be an advantage
