As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily logistics operations activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
We are seeking an experienced professional to handle coordination and negotiation with internal and external parties regarding shipment arrangement. This includes generating purchase orders, inputting data into SAP, arranging sailing schedules, checking invoices and bills of lading, and more.
Responsibilities will also include supplier and customer management, handling order backlogs, and forecasting demand. Additionally, you will perform cost analysis, being aware of cargo costs and logistics expenses.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the company are expected from this role.
">Requirements:
To succeed in this role, candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant experience and hold a diploma or degree in a related field. Knowledge of Incoterms is highly desirable, as well as experience in issuing high-volume purchase orders and liaising with forwarders for overseas shipments.
Candidates should also have excellent communication skills, teamwork abilities, time management skills, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus.
Flexibility in working overtime and overseas travel is required for this position.
