The inventory manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization by overseeing the effective management of stock and purchase order related data. This involves analyzing and optimizing allocation to achieve maximum efficiency.

One of the key responsibilities of the inventory manager is generating and analyzing reports to support demand forecasting, supply information, and making recommendations accordingly. This requires a deep understanding of concepts such as safety stocks, working stocks, and replenishment strategies to maintain a healthy balance between overstocking and stockouts.

Additionally, the inventory manager must ensure seamless coordination with various stakeholders including forwarders, customs, vendors, and warehouse teams. They must also be responsible for assisting daily operations with the Ops team and Warehouse.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of working experience in commercial vehicle spare parts management or inventory control in the automotive industry.
• Experience with inventory control of thousands of line items is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability.
• Collaborate with project leaders, planners, and production supervisors to prioritize work in line with delivery timelines.
• Handle material and production planning, including the requisition of materials and updating of Bill of Materials (BOM) or implementing design changes.
• Confirm orders based on the availability of materials and production capacity.
• Coordinate with purchasing teams to plan and manage material deliveries, preventing excess inventory buildup.
• Monitor material availability to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Ensure the timely closure of production orders to facilitate invoicing.
• Maintain compliance with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of experience in planning, preferably with production planning experience.
