(What the role is)
This role involves teaching and mentoring students in Service Experience Design, with a focus on human-centered and strategic thinking across digital, physical, and hybrid platforms. The candidate will develop curriculum, lead industry collaborations, and contribute to applied research and design competitions. They should have at least 5 years of experience in UX/CX or business transformation, be proficient in design tools like Figma and Adobe XD, and stay current with trends in immersive technologies and generative AI. Strong communication skills and experience in tertiary or adult education are preferred.
(What you will be working on)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and facilitate learning experiences in Service Experience Design, including curriculum development, assessment design, project supervision, and student mentoring.
- Apply contemporary teaching strategies such as blended learning, design sprints, and studio-based critique to enhance lesson quality and student engagement.
- Continuously evaluate and improve curriculum content and delivery to align with evolving industry standards and learner needs.
- Lead and co-create industry collaborations, applied research projects, and design competitions that reflect real-world challenges.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in service design, UX/CX, digital transformation, and immersive technologies through active engagement with professional communities.
- Represent the department in school committees and contribute to outreach, student recruitment, and strategic initiatives.
- Support the development and delivery of Continuing Education & Training (CET) programmes tailored to industry and adult learners.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of school-wide strategies and initiatives.
(What we are looking for)
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification or minimum 5 years of industry experience in Service Experience Design, UX/CX, or Business Transformation.
- Proven ability to conceptualize and implement innovative design solutions across digital, physical, and hybrid touchpoints.
- Passionate about nurturing future-ready designers with strong human-centered and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Adobe XD.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting project and academic deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Prior teaching experience at tertiary level or in adult learning contexts is an advantage. Familiarity with online/hybrid course delivery is preferred.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their application in design workflows is an added advantage.
- Relevant expertise in one or more of the following areas:

What you will be working on
- Responsible for module development, delivery, project supervision, assessment setting and marking for full-time and part-time courses.
- Coach and mentor both PET and CET learners and be involved in student development activities beyond the classroom.
- Support and guide learners in their holistic development, including providing pastoral care, supervision for projects and competitions.
- Mentor learners during Internship Programme.
- Lead cross-departmental projects that impact the institution.
- Develop strong relationships and collaborate on projects with industry partners as well as plan, coordinate and execute events for alumni.
- Participate in the delivery of outreach activities to market the school and course to potential students.
- Perform administrative and academic duties.
What we are looking for

- Relevant qualification in Banking and/or Finance.
At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience in two or more of the following areas for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET):
Risk and Compliance Management
- Fund Management and Administration
- Consumer and/or Corporate Banking
- Sustainable Finance
- AI and Data Analytics in Finance
- Digital Banking and FinTech
- Blockchain and Decentralised Finance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the capacity to work well in a team, manage deadlines effectively, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in managing administrative tasks with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- IT savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for general tasks, Tableau for data visualization, Python for data analysis or machine learning, and familiar with educational software like Panopto and various Learning Management Systems for effective teaching and learning.
