Role overview
MetaComp Pte. Ltd., together with Alpha Ladder Finance (ALF) and the wider group, is seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel / Junior Legal Counsel to support our payments, digital assets and wealth product businesses in Singapore. This is a hands-on in-house role for a 2–5 PQE lawyer who combines legal rigour with practical commercial judgment. We are looking for a lawyer who is confident, responsive, solutions-oriented and curious about financial products and technology. The ideal candidate should be able to think clearly, draft precisely and partner effectively with the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support legal work for payments, digital asset, custody, OTC, tokenised and wealth-related products offered by MetaComp and ALF.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer, partner, vendor, technology, outsourcing, custody, brokerage and service agreements.
• Provide legal and regulatory support on Singapore financial services matters, working closely with Compliance, Product, Operations and Business teams.
• Assist with product launches, partner onboarding, internal approvals, governance documentation and external counsel coordination.
• Help build and maintain templates, playbooks and legal know-how resources.
• Use AI tools responsibly in legal drafting, review and research, and help train and improve AI-enabled legal workflows within the team.
REQUIREMENTS
• 2–5 years' PQE.
• Qualified in Singapore or another common law jurisdiction.
• Experience in payments, fintech, digital assets, financial services, wealth products or capital markets preferred.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Native-level English drafting and communication skills.
• Locally based in Singapore.
• Practical, detail-oriented and commercially minded.

Primary Relationships

Outside the organization, the position coordinates primarily with the brand’s online audiences on all social media channels as well as 3rd parties including agencies, content creators, etc.
Responsibilities
- Engage with all mentions and reposts to continue building a strong sense of community with the brand’s audiences.

The Role
The Junior Technician is responsible for fabrication and assembly work in the workshop, and to provide quality conveyor belt replacement service to customer on-site.
Accountabilities
- Fabricates conveyor belts to required specification and tolerance
- Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment
- Finalizes and packs finished products for shipment
- Replaces conveyor belts at customer’s site
- Performs other tasks as assigned
What Are We Looking For
- Higher NITEC / NITEC / NTC / GCE N or O Level
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Manufacturing or Engineering field
- Class 3 driving license is mandatory
- Able to work overtime when required
- Team player who is also able to work independently
