As part of our Digital, Data and Technology practice expansion we are seeking an Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in financial services (banking, payments, insurance & or wealth) technology to drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and regulatory-compliant enterprise architectures for banking, payments, insurance, and wealth management clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud migration, API-driven ecosystems, and fintech integrations while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology strategy.
Although this role requires hands-on technical expertise, there is also a requirement for stakeholder management and collaboration with Capco sales teams on business development. Therefore, you must possess the soft skills associated with being a trusted advisor with the ability to tailor your conversation to the audience (CEO, CIO, COO, CDO, Transformation leads, Business leads).
Responsibilities
- Technology Strategy & Architecture Development
- Define and implement enterprise architecture frameworks and target state architectures, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Design microservices architectures, API ecosystems, and event-driven systems.
- Evaluate SaaS/PaaS vs. custom-built solutions for financial institutions.
- Drive data strategy, enabling efficient real-time analytics and AI/ML adoption.
- Design cloud migration and modernization efforts (considering hyperscalers such as AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop technical roadmaps for financial system transformations, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across enterprise-wide technology solutions.
- Stakeholder, Vendor & Project Management
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Partner with CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders to drive strategic technology decisions.
- Support relationships with third-party vendors, cloud providers, and fintech partners.
- Guide agile development teams to ensure architectural consistency and best practices.
- Experienced with multi-site, multi-cultural teams
- Emerging Technology & Innovation
- Assess and consider in design AI-driven financial services, blockchain, and other emerging technologies.
- Explore DeFi, embedded finance, and open banking architectures.
- Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives for next-generation banking and insurance solutions.
- Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC)
- Ensure enterprise architecture complies with financial regulations (e.g., Basel III, PSD2, GDPR, MAS).
- Consider robust cybersecurity, IAM, and data privacy frameworks.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure regulatory adherence in all technology implementations.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture within the financial services industry, fintechs or consultancies / SI’s.
- Experience with core banking, digital payments, wealth management, and risk platforms.
- Experience in domain-driven, event-driven architecture and integration patterns
- Experience in Data & Analytics system design and architecture
- Experience with API design, development and open standards to drives distributed architectures preferably with a background in one of Java, C# or C++.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and API-led architecture.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, IT governance, and cloud security best practices.
- Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation process
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance frameworks.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure technology platforms and solutions adhere to architecture standards for new initiatives and ongoing changes as part of architecture workgroup solution review and change approval for application deployment
- Ensure architecture standards, guidelines, design patterns and reference models are well-defined and socialized for solution community, keeping in line with industry and technology best practices and regulations.
- Ensure regular administration of architecture review and technology governance forums, including proper maintenance of records, facilitation of resolution of feedback, tracking and follow up for effective closure of design gaps and technical debts.
- Promote fit-for-purpose, efficiency and improvements in systems resiliency, flexibility, interoperability, and overall futureproofing of the architecture, including evaluation and introduction of enterprise / shared solutions and regularly review / rationalize existing solutions, collaborating with application teams and business.
- Create and maintain architecture blueprint and roadmap to represent Income’s business and technology strategy, goals, and capabilities required by domain.
- Ensure collaboration to maintain up-to-date architecture and solution artefacts, including but not limited to those related to, application services, technology stack, data, integration, infrastructure / deployment, security and alignment to business.
- Conduct research, curation, and sharing of relevant technological trends / thought leaderships.
- Create and maintain communication materials for stakeholders, technology forums, and community engagements.
- Collaborate and contribute to tactical design solutions, troubleshooting, and corrective measures to address systems’ gaps.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in relevant enterprise architecture governance, solution architecture, software design and integration, and/or technology consulting.
- Strong proficiency and knowledge in architecture development, technology delivery and management, cyber security, and technology risk and compliance.
- Deep understanding in technology best practices for cloud, microservices, container platforms, API design and management, and event-driven architecture
- Deep understanding in technology stack, including enterprise Java and spring boot, front-end technologies and framework (such as ReactJS), mobile application development, middleware and integration technologies, databases, security solutions, and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure Cloud)
- Strong proficiency and knowledge in either or combination of the following areas:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and result-driven.

Job Description
We are representing our client in the marine sector to look for a strategic Enterprise Architect to lead the design and evolution of the enterprise technology landscape. This role requires broad expertise across cloud platforms (preferably Azure), data streaming (Kafka), data architecture, DevOps, security, AI, and software product development.A key focus will be on designing integration frameworks that connect internal systems and external partners to enable seamless, secure, and scalable operations.Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain enterprise architecture practices, standards, and roadmaps aligned with business and digital transformation goals.
- Lead architectural governance and ensure alignment across business units and technology domains.
- Drive and oversee the planning and design of major system components and changes and ensure business requirements and objectives are met with emphasis on security, scalability, performance and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure high security standards are being employed across all projects.
- Lead and design data engineering processes and practices, drive modernization of data pipelines towards integration with AI, ML and other modern data processing technologies.
- Study and apply knowledge from shipping and logistics domains.
- Engage and consult with stakeholders including internal entities within the company and external entities including vendors and business partners.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Software architecture or senior technical leadership role
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architecture.
- Strong expertise in service oriented, distributed computing, and event-driven architecture.
- Deep knowledge of data architecture, DevOps, security, and AI/ML platforms.
- Experience designing integration frameworks for internal and external systems.
- Familiarity with maritime technologies, standards, and operational systems is a strong plus.
- Experience in Maritime industry, particularly in container shipping and logistics, will be advantageous.
- It is preferred that the candidate has the following certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
- Confluent Certified Developer or Architect for Apache Kafka.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- CISSP or equivalent security certification.

- Being a member of the Architecture Committee in ONE to facilitate AC meetings with internal and external technical stakeholders and SMEs.
- Owns the technology relationships up to CxO level & supports technology thought leadership.

- Experience in Cloud solution in GCP
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of one or more topics: DevOps, Big Data, Machine Learning, Serverless computing, Cloud Migration, Application Modernization, etc
- Knowledge of the latest technologies: Kubernetes, Kafka, cybersecurity, MSA, AI/ML, or Real-time analytics solutions
- Knowledge of at least one or more development languages such as Java, Python, and
- Experiences in various architect community activities (e.g., Open source contributions, technical meetups, webcasts, blogs, hackathons) is an added advantage
- Passion for evangelizing and presenting technical concepts to developers, IT management
- Desirable soft skills:
1) Good verbal and written communications skills
2) Able to work cohesively with the various teams
3) Show initiative and responsibility for the tasks under the ownership
4) Adaptive to changes
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:

2. Preferred Education

3. Work Experience (years of experience in the industry and functional area)
- 8+ years of working experience in total would be highly recommended:
(i) At least 8 years of related working experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
