Electronics Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team, focusing on the development of innovative Internet of Things (IoT) products. This role involves full-cycle hardware design—from schematic development and PCB layout to product prototyping, testing, and refinement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create reliable, cost-effective, and market-ready electronic solutions for smart connectivity applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop hardware for IoT devices, including schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and system architecture definitions.
• Lead the selection and validation of electronic components, including preparation of Bills of Materials (BOM) and cost analysis.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and product teams to ensure cohesive system development and timely project execution.
• Develop and implement testing protocols for hardware validation, including functional tests, stress tests, and compliance assessments.
• Ensure product designs meet relevant safety.
• Support the prototyping, debugging, and refinement of electronic systems during development stages.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in hardware design for IoT or embedded systems.
• Strong proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, including power management (AC/DC, DC/DC converters), battery charging circuits
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and testing procedures, including EMI, EMC, and safety certifications.
• Practical experience in PCB layout design tools and hardware debugging.
• Knowledge of Altium Designer is absolutely essential to be considered for the role.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test electronic circuits and systems, including analog and digital hardware.

Requirement:

• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in electronic system design and development.
• Proven experience in designing and developing customised embedded systems and processing units.
• Proficiency in circuit design and simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics, PCB design, and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for designing a Main Printed Circuit Assembly for device.
• Responsible for meeting product requirements, driving for breakthroughs in cost and efficiency, selection of new components, schematic implementation, circuit level bring-up, debug and validation.

You will play a key role in developing a first-in-market NILM (Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring) controller in collaboration with global leader in HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded system software on ARM-based multicore embedded platforms (e.g. Cortex-A series processors)
