Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop various power electronic converters, including but not limited to:
AC/DC: Totem-pole PFC, T-type, Vienna Rectifier
DC/DC: LLC, Buck, Boost, Synchronous Rectification (SR), Flyback - Perform circuit simulations, hardware prototyping, and performance validation.
- Select and evaluate power components such as MOSFETs (Si, SiC, GaN), capacitors, resistors, and other critical components.
- Conduct thermal, EMI/EMC, and reliability analyses of power converter designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing to ensure robust product integration.
- Ensure product designs meet international safety and regulatory standards
- Create design documentation including schematics, BOMs, test reports, and validation plans.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in power electronics and implement best design practices.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- From 2 to 5 years of industry experience in designing and developing power electronic converters.
- Solid understanding of power converter topologies and modern semiconductor technologies (Si, SiC, GaN).
- Proficient in circuit simulation and PCB design tools (e.g., LTspice, PLECS, Altium Designer, or similar).
- Familiar with safety and regulatory standards such as UL, IEC, ISO, and EMI/EMC compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to prototyping and testing.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
