Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery, offshore equipment, and various machines using appropriate hand tools, machinery, and precision instruments.
• Inspect and troubleshoot issues in fuel, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Provide regular servicing of equipment, including oil and lubricant changes, component replacements, hose maintenance, and battery servicing.
• Refurbish or replace heavy equipment parts, conduct operational tests, and ensure equipment performance.
• Assess equipment for signs of wear and damage and report findings to the supervisor.
• Keep the work area neat, clean, and well-organized.
• Prepare accurate and timely maintenance records and service documentation.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure machinery reliability.

Maintenance technicians are required to carry out routine maintenance and repair of diesel engines, air compressors, and pumps. Their responsibilities include performing troubleshooting and repairs on generators, compressors, and pumps.

Main Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of diesel engines.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of diesel generators, air compressors, and pumps.
• Conduct regular test runs and performance checks on pumps and related machinery.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report issues promptly.
• Support emergency repairs and attend to equipment breakdowns as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in diesel engine or equipment maintenance.
• Hands-on knowledge of generators, compressors, and pump systems.
• Willing to work in marine or industrial environments.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
