Responsibilities
Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Manage intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and consolidation adjustments across multiple entities.
Ensure compliance with SEC/US GAAP disclosure requirements, including interim and annual reporting.
Oversee month-end close activities, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Partner with auditors and external advisors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including digital assets, fair value measurement, leases, revenue recognition, and investment accounting.
Support tax, treasury, and operations teams with accurate financial data for decision-making.
Mentor and supervise junior accountants; ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in reporting processes.
Stay updated on accounting developments, particularly crypto asset guidance under US GAAP and IFRS.
Coordinate and support SOX audits, including preparation of required documentation, walkthroughs, and testing of key controls.
Lead and manage local statutory audits for subsidiaries, ensuring timely submission of audited financial statements in compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and consolidation accounting (multi-entity, multi-currency).
Experience with digital assets/cryptocurrency accounting highly preferred.
Public company or audit firm experience (Big Four or equivalent) strongly desirable.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
