Job Description
Responsible for the full spectrum of Finance and Accounting function to support functional Business Unit. Responsibilities include management decision-support, reorganizations, budget control, process improvement and enhancement of Compliance and Internal Controls.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall financial reporting and financial closing in compliance with international Financial reporting standard and Group reporting requirements
- Preparation of annual Business Plan and prepare variance analysis against the Business Plan
- Preparation and update of monthly forecast
- Support Management and advise on business and costs performance
- Advise on Tax matters including local and cross border tax implications and handles GST matters
- Provide finance leadership to Business operations
- Review, update and put in place accounting policies and procedures
- Ensure internal controls and compliance and support external audits
- Lead initiatives on process improvements and finance related projects, such as financial ERP and sub-system integration
- Review projects ROI and provide insights to management
- Enhance credit review and credit control for third party collaborators
- Cash Management and Foreign exchange management
- Conduct SOX self-assessment and support SOX audits
- Recognized Accountancy degree or ACCA and equivalent
- At least 5 years relevant experience with 2-3 years managerial experience
- Experience in SAP ERP is advantageous
- Strong business partnering, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge and practical experience in process improvement initiatives and internal control.
