The Warehouse Associate is to perform a variety of routine, repetitive, physical and administrative tasks in the production warehouse involving one or more of the following: receiving, putting away, storing, staging, kitting, picking, packing and shipping of materials, parts, supplies, equipment, finished goods, label control, handling unit, lot control or serial control.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Shipping - Outbound shipment packing for forwarders collection; stock counting; housekeeping
Put away - Put away of raw materials/parts to designated location and perform system transaction into ERP system; stock counting and housekeeping
Parts Issuance - Part issuance and replenish of raw materials/parts to Production Supply Area and perform system transaction into ERP system; stock counting; housekeeping
Receiving - Receive and count of raw material and update into ERP system within 24 hours from time of acceptance from suppliers; housekeeping

Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow written instructions in English
Basic math, problem solving and computer skills
May need to lift items of up to 15 lbs., sit, stand and walk for long periods of time

- Uses established tools and techniques to track progress related to implementing process improvements.
- Learns and supports the processes of receiving, shipping and warehousing materials
- Collects information to understand problems and identify their origin.
- Researches events and known solutions for basic or routine problems.
- Implements prescribed steps and ensures effective resolution, escalating troubleshooting if needed.
- Demonstrates attention during discussions by taking notes and asking clarifying questions.
- Demonstrates awareness of non-verbal behavior/cues (i.e., body language) when listening and communicating.
- Restates and reflects back information to check for understanding.
- Works with supervisors to set goals and priorities for individual work and manages time efficiently to accomplish goals.
- Remains focused without becoming sidetracked by non-urgent or less important tasks or interruptions.
- Demonstrates punctuality and reliability in meeting individual deadlines, complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Complies with and promote safety guidelines
- Promotes a clean and organized (5S) warehouse operation.
- A minimum of 2 years' warehousing experience
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Ability to operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment, including operating a PIT at an elevation of 25+ feet from the warehouse floor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver high quality, thorough and accurate work on deadlines
- Standard shift hours are generally observed, and the job may include voluntary or mandatory overtime
- This role will be expected to work in a non-climate controlled environment

What will you be doing?

- Ensure proper packaging and labelling to maintain product integrity during transit.
- Receive incoming shipments from freight forwarders and verify against purchase orders.
- Perform put-away of goods into designated storage locations and update inventory systems accordingly.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Use handheld devices to transact inventory movements and maintain accurate stock records.
- Execute inter-warehouse transfers and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Wrap, label, and prepare items for storage or shipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
