The role involves booking and shipment coordination, liaising with various stakeholders for warehousing and transportation, shipping document preparation, and regulatory custom and trade compliance.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process shipment orders triggered by Customers.
- Book freight with nominated carriers based on customer's carrier routine guide.
- Provide quotation on other services such as warehousing and transportation and documentation services.
- Liaise with the truckers to collect and truck empty containers from depot to customer premise for stuffing, and to launch the laden container to port thereafter.
- Prepare Permits and other relevant Applications/Declarations.
- Prepare Letter of Credit & final shipping documents.
- Monitor shipping documents for shipment clearance, and other regulatory compliance.

Experience
- 1 to 2 years relevant working experience in Sea operations.
- Fresh “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” graduates or equivalent from Polytechnics and Universities are welcome to apply.
Qualification
Diploma or Degree holders in “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” or equivalent.
Knowledge/Skills
MS Office, especially Excel.
Good understanding of IT System, such as SAP, will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and Process Shipments Order:
o Process customer shipment orders, ensuring all relevant documentation (release notes, bill of lading, invoices, packing lists) is complete and accurate for inbound and outbound order processing
o Create Advance Shipment Notices (ASN) and Sales Orders (SO) in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
o Coordinate transportation for both containerized and non-containerized cargo with external vendors.
o Track vessel, shipment, and container status through Portnet to ensure timely deliveries.
· Customer and Supplier Liaison:
o Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline order processing and address customer requests efficiently.
o Liaise with Singapore Customs, handling discrepancies, storage extensions, and other cargo- related matters.
o Provide customer support regarding lot numbers, stock status, expiry dates, goods destruction and any other request deems necessary to ensure the order is fulfilled.
· Inventory Management:
o Monitor stock availability through e-Customs Inventory to ensure accurate inventory levels.
o Generate and maintain inventory reports using the WMS system.
o Conduct periodic stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy (inbound & outbound cargo, and year end stock take)
· Documentation and Compliance:
o Prepare and submit required shipment documentation (invoices, packing lists, permit declarations).
o Cargo clearance permit declaration and navigate tradenet for permit retrieval.
· Billing and Administrative Tasks:
o Handle billing responsibilities, ensuring all invoices are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
o Verify contractor invoices as needed.
o Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, mailing, and photocopying.
