We are seeking a skilled and experienced L2 Systems Admin to provide Windows and Network support at our client locations in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, with a focus on Windows systems and network administration. This role requires hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing IT systems to ensure smooth operations at our work sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Windows systems and network infrastructure at client work locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Monitor network performance and ensure network security aligned per the customer standards.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and support IT projects.
• Document and maintain IT procedures and configurations.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Windows and network administration.
• Experience with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The role will perform hands on system integration and system migration work on our sophisticated, large scale finance systems in Asia region. The ideal candidate is expected to have hands on experience of system migration, deployment under UNIX/Linux environment, with excellent communication skills. By performing the role, the candidate will have the opportunity to operate on the large scale electronic financial systems by working with cross Asia region teams.

The responsibilities of this position are:

• Collaborate with cross functional teams including upper/down steam systems, hardware infra team to define system migration strategy, timeline and risk mitigation plan.
• Execute actual system migration and intergration of the electronic finance systems.
• Perform the post migration validation and ensure the system integrity after migration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the migration.
• Coordinate with internal teams and PMO to make sure the migration milestones are met.

Skills Required

• Hands on system operation experience under Unix/Linux (3+ years)
• Proficient in Unix/Linux system administration to perform troubleshooting, monitoring
• Proficient in one of the scripting language: Python or Unix/Linux shell script
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Highly Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and resolving issues
