Youth Development Centre will provide youth mental health programmes, runs a drop in centre and provides specialised supervision for access of child protection involved children with their parents. We are growing our youth mental health services and are looking for a passionate and dynamic Social Worker to join us.
Serving mostly youth mental health clients, you will need to (i) provide professional services to assess, plan and execute interventions for clients through the support of volunteers; (ii) reach out to youth and their families; (iii) grow our volunteer pool; (iv) ensure safety of the vulnerable children, their families, volunteers and staff through good risk assessment and management. 1. Outreach and Case Management/Supervision
1.1 Participate and contribute to outreach to youth with adverse childhood experiences as they have higher risks for mental health issues
1.2 Provide case management to support cases allocated to you, including assessment, case planning, intervention and review.
1.3 Coordinate and facilitate internal case discussions and networking and case conferences with other agencies.
1.3. Build up a strong network with the community to enable access to help for our clients.
1.4 Assess safety risks for clients, families and volunteers and do safety planning for cases.
1.5 Manage crisis and provide de-escalation when needed.

The KidSTART Practitioner's (KSP) role is to provide targeted assistance to children and families enrolled onto the KidSTART programme via a home visitation model. The KSP will work with parents, caregivers, and relevant systems in the following areas:

As a Social Worker with RCD, you will be providing vital counselling and case work support for clients dealing with addiction issues and their family members who are impacted by addiction. You will provide information and referral services for offenders, ex-offenders, and their next of kin on addiction issues.
You will conduct risk assessment, social investigation, case formulation, and intervention planning as part of the counselling and case management service.
You will deliver face-to-face individual and group counselling, as well as workshops for offenders, ex-offenders, and their next of kin on addiction issues.
Your will prepare and submit reports and case recordings in a timely manner.

- Minimum a degree in Social Work or Degree with a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution
- Possess at least two (2) years of experience working with offenders and ex-offenders will be an advantage.
- Certified Substance Addiction Counsellor (CSAC) with Association of Professional Addiction Counsellor (APSAC) or those trained in Motivational interviewing and/or Windows on Addiction will be given priority.
