Positson Overview
We seek an experienced leader to oversee and optimise our global supply chain operations.
This role is responsible for Logistics, Procurement, Warehousing, and Supplier Quality and development. The successful candidate will drive strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, manage costs, and maintain the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
· Strategic Direction & Leadership
o Design and execute a global supply chain strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
o Lead, mentor, and inspire teams across logistics, procurement, warehousing, and supplier quality to foster operational excellence.
o Collaborate with senior leadership to drive innovation and business growth through supply chain improvements.
· Operational Excellence
o Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, supplier partnerships, inventory management, and logistics.
o Develop and implement best practices to enhance sourcing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
o Optimise supply chain processes to improve performance, reduce waste, and ensure timely delivery.
· Financial & Performance Management
o Oversee budgeting and financial planning for supply chain functions to drive cost savings and efficiency.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
o Lead initiatives to enhance inventory management, working capital utilisation, and supplier cost structures.
· Risk & Compliance
o Identify potential supply chain risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
o Ensure compliance with global industry regulations, certifications, and standards.
o Develop robust supplier performance monitoring and risk management programs.
· Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
o Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams
o Serve as the key liaison for suppliers and customers regarding supply chain matters.
o Effectively communicate strategies and performance insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Requirements
· At least Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years in supply chain management, with at least 3 to 5 years in a leadership capacity within food, engineering or fast-moving consumer goods.
Proven experience in managing supply chain functions and driving strategic improvements in work processes, structure and comfortable with transformation
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Deep expertise in supply chain technologies, procurement strategies, and operational best practices.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
Strong business acumen and hands-on when required

• Good understanding of IT concepts including SAP
