Carry out calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment as per schedule or instructed.
Ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory.
Follow the existing system and documentation as per the procedures.
Update the relevant records.
Work harmoniously with colleagues in the same department and from other department.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of O Levels or equivalent and at least 3-5 years of laboratory experience.
- Knowledge of laboratory best practices.
- Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, EXCEL, Outlook, etc.).
- Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform standard mathematical calculations, familiar with different measurement units, ability to use concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios.
- Time management skills: able to prioritize and organize work for efficiency and higher throughput.
- Good written and oral communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
Flavour Preparation & Evaluation
- Prepare flavour samples as requested for customer briefs, application needs, technology performance assessment, QC standards, physical testing, etc.
- Act as the main point of contact to provide timely flavour samples for other labs and functions within Givaudan
- Maintain all required formula records and brief documentation in the company database software (Athena, Atlas, Lot Number records, etc.)
- Maintain organized and updated stock of raw materials in the Laboratory
- Maintain organized collection of flavours in the lab for immediate response to briefs and application requests
- Assist in applying flavours to food products when assigned
- Participate in the evaluation of flavours in food products and provide flavour performance feedback
- Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment in accordance with EH&S policies and good laboratory practices
Main Requirements
- NITEC or Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or relevant fields
- Minimum 1-5 years experience working in a laboratory setting/environment
- Basic understanding of research documentation protocol

- Responsible for regular inspection of all Medical Education capital equipment
- Responsible for setup, breakdown, maintenance, and disinfection of laboratory equipment and facilities, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness across both in-house and off-site lab environments.

Education and Experience:
BS in Management or Bio-Medical Sciences or possesses at least 2 years of related lab experience. Able to show progression towards an in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures. Experience in the orthopedic industry preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Ability to logistically manage a lab environment independently.
