The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing solutions based on project requirements and company standards, using simulations and modeling to support design concepts. They will also be required to develop design specification sheets, conduct cycle time studies, and create 3D models of machines and modules.

Additionally, the Design Engineer will be responsible for initiating and carrying out internal and external design reviews, revising designs and documents based on feedback, creating flowcharts and drawings, and obtaining approvals from department managers.

1. Develop deep understanding of design specifications based on customer requirements, organizational goals, and business strategies.

9. Create and update flow chart for the module or the entire machine
10. Create part drawings and assembly drawings based on approved design and obtain approval from department manager
11. Create Bill Of Materials (BOM) for the modules assigned based on design schedule given.
12. Create drawing release file and send out drawings for quotation
13. Send out standard part list for quotation based on BOM.
14. Receive quotation and make price comparison spreadsheet
15. Raise PR and get department manager approval and send to Purchase department for negotiation and ordering.
16. Promptly support any design issues discovered during fabrication and /or assembly stages
17. Make necessary modifications needed, update design, drawings and get approval from department manager.
18. Release revised drawings to supplier and internal assembly team.
19. Support machine assembly team as and when necessary, with set up and fine tuning of machines.
20. Carry out all the activities based on the project schedule given.
21. Meet quality standards while maintaining working knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices, and upholding company policies, internal, customer standards for machine building and safety.
22. Develop, train, and educate junior engineers, guide technical direction, and act as a technical liaison between customers

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to design and develop machine electrical control systems. This role involves designing and programming assembly lines, robotic devices, or other manufacturing processes using programmable logic controllers (PLC).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with good knowledge of PLC and circuit design. They should also have the ability to visualize projects, develop and produce design from concept through completion.
