Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Geophysicist to join our field and data team. The role is hands-on, involving seismic measurement, data acquisition, and survey operations. You will work closely with project engineers and survey crews to deliver reliable data for engineering and construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field geophysical surveys (seismic refraction, MASW, downhole, crosshole, and related methods).
- Operate and maintain seismic instruments, geophones, and data loggers.
- Assist in soil investigation programs by integrating geophysical data with geotechnical results.
- Process, interpret, and summarize survey data using standard software and in-house tools.
- Prepare field logs, survey reports, and documentation for submission.
- Work on both land and marine projects, sometimes in challenging field conditions.
- Support health, safety, and quality compliance during field operations.
- Degree / Diploma in Geophysics, Geology, Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, or related field.
- Some exposure to seismic surveys, field instrumentation, or subsurface investigation (academic project or internship acceptable).
- Comfortable with fieldwork (outdoor, marine, and construction site environments).
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overseas for projects.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving attitude, and communication skills.
- Fresh graduates are welcome - on-the-job training provided.
