The Opportunity
- Adecco is partnering with a growing renewable energy company, and we're looking for a seasoned finance professional who can manage full sets of accounts and financial reporting to join the Singapore team.
- As an Accountant, you will be working closely with the Senior Finance Manager on month-end close, GL, management reporting, and financial reporting responsibilities.
The Job
- Handle full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST/VAT submissions and corporate tax filings.
- Support audit processes by preparing required documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, including preparation of cash flow forecasts.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of internal controls and accounting systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project accounting and cost tracking for renewable energy initiatives.
Requirements
- With CA or CPA and Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in handling full sets of accounts and financial reporting. Candidates with an audit background will have an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Talent with an immediate or short-notice period would be a plus.

Job Responsibilities:
- Align the mechanical department’s objectives with overall business and organizational goals.
- Develop and advise on long-term mechanical maintenance plans, including CAPEX/OPEX budgeting, monitoring, and scheduling of maintenance and project work.
- Plan and implement mechanical system and equipment modifications, upgrades, and installations to enhance reliability and availability.
- Manage procurement of spare parts and services to support maintenance requirements, including vendor contracts and administrative oversight.
- Lead and oversee a team of engineers, technical officers, and technicians to handle plant issues and downtime, ensuring timely resolution and restoration.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
