LAI Games is looking for a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the product development team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our arcade games meet the needs and expectations of our operators.
- Act as the subject matter expert for arcade games, with a strong understanding of arcade operators' needs and field conditions.
- Support game testing by monitoring in-game performance, collecting structured feedback through surveys, and observing real-world gameplay to validate development iterations; additionally, provide feedback and validation on the assembly process and assist with troubleshooting during game testing.
- Curate and populate operator-facing documentation such as manuals, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs. Collaborate with engineering and support teams to ensure accuracy and completeness, using relevant tools and platforms to manage and publish content.
- Collaborate closely with creative, engineering, supply chain teams, and OEM partners and lead assigned projects through the entire project lifecycle while ensuring that they meet requirements and quality standards. Track progress using tools like Jira and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Lead product-specific improvements and features through the creation of physical mock-ups to evaluate form, function, and usability. Incorporate feedback loops and iteration cycles to refine features based on field performance and user experience.
- Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Strong communication skills – written, visual, and verbal.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen interest in arcade games, gaming culture, or interactive hardware products.
- Ability to break down technical information into simple, easy-to-understand formats.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
- Familiarity with documentation tools, diagrams, or other visual content creation tools is a plus.
- Experience with physical prototyping, creating mock-ups, and user testing is a plus.
